My first Camera trapping You tube videos

Hi All,
I hope everyone is keeping well. I have recently finished a short camera trapping project and made a couple of videos of it for You Tube.

They are my first attempt at videos. I hope it is ok to post links to You Tube on the forum, they are not monitized in any way, so hopefully it will be ok.
I thought they may be of interest to other forum members.

Thanks Jeff. Glad you liked them, I think my face belongs firmly behind the camera and not in front of it. :rolleyes: even so, I may do some more in the future.

Hi John I saw your photos and I was encouraged to try to make photos like yours, I currently have a hunting camera Apeman, but I am building a pelicase like yours so I can put the dslr in the field.

What are the advantages of using pir or photocell triggers, in your experience?

I wanted to ask you what shooting features do you use, a single shot, a burst?

I have the camera on the edge of a vineyard and surprisingly I have discovered that wild boars, roe deer, fox and from time to time a badger pass by not every day.

Your portfolio is spectacular, lots of encouragement.

Thanks Josep. I have only ever used a Camtraptions V3 PIR sensor, Which I can thoroughly recommend. I'm afraid i have no experience with photocell triggers.
As for shooting features, personally I only use single shot as I feel this puts less stress on the animal and will be my best chance of getting a natural shot, whereas if you shoot a burst, the second and third frames will possibly be of the animal staring at the camera or running away. I suppose it all depends on the type of animal you are photographing too. Some animals are less fearful of the camera than others.
Good luck with your project, it sounds like you have plenty of species to go at and don't forget to share your photos on the forum, its always good to see what other people are doing.
