Hi all,
I set a trail cam in my front yard in Australia to see whether there was any possum activity on the ground. Found that at least 3 domestic cats patrol the yard throughout all hours of the night. I deployed my DSLR trap each night to see whether I could throw a shadow onto the brick wall. Got the most success the first night, and afterwards the cats were extremely wary of the set, most nights completely avoiding the path they once walked through. Playing with shadows was very difficult, as I needed the sensor to trip within centimetres to get the shadow in the correct place. Got some other images in my head using shadows with native wildlife.
