Hi all, I wanted to post my first camera trap set up ever. I'm happy with the comp, lighting is a little off though. This was a razor thin ridge top with oak tree roots exposed and housing some raccoons. Tricky set up with extremely steep banks (60 foot drop on root side) to scramble on during set up. 145

Very nice. I really like the green in the foreground.
I think that is the first trap image using the EOS R I have seen. How is the wake up time and battery life?

Wake up is great, less than a second. Battery life obviously depends on how many shots fired, but I've gone 6 days thus far and when checking the camera the battery still has full bars shown on the back display. Thats firings roughly 20-25 shots in that 6 day span.

That's great. Thanks for the info.
Hope to see more images from your setup. What part of the country are you in?

Your terrain and raccoons look about the same as here in Nebraska.

Yep, very similar. We look identical to western Iowa/eastern Nebraska in our terrain here
