Trailmaster TM-1500 IR LED

Dear all,

I recently bought a used a Trailmaster TM-1500. Unfortunately it didn't work. I found out that when i use one of my TM-1550 IR device, it is working well. So i checked everything on the IR device and could find out that everything is working, except, the IR LED must be defective.

I guess it would be easy to replace this IR LED, but unfortunately i don't know which one i had to buy ? Does anyone know which type of IR LED is used in the TM-1500, which wavelenght ?

The LED is 850nm. But the critical spec will be the intensity and beamwidth. I would try a Vishay VSLY5850 first. It is a 3 degree, 600 mW/sr LED.
